... and how they've flown by.
It's been a while huh? ^__^
So, I'm almost done with my second to last semester of college. It's really exciting.
I was advised for my last semester yesterday and will graduate in December as long as all goes well. Which I'm bound and determined for it to. <3
I recently turned 23. :3 Go me! I feel old. >.>
In NYC of all places, I got to spend my 23rd birthday.
It was absolutely amazing and one of the best times of my life.
I had never been out of the south much less on a plane and man did I go far. And I loved every minute of it.
I got to go to Nintendo World, the Disney Store, Gyu-Kaku, A really epic little game store, the Hardrock Cafe, the Carnegie Deli, and several other places.
Had some of the best food ever at Gyu-Kaku. You cook your own food. It was so cool and yummy. I wish I could go back. I hope to one day.
And the cheesecake from the Carnegie Deli was the best I've ever had.
Oh man the Subways... >.> Really cool, efficient, and scary. It didn't help that I had recently watched Creep. Haha.
I went with Student Publications from ULM. It was a wonderful experience, and I'm so thankful I was able to go.
(I should be able to post pictures during spring break in a week or so.)
I brought home several souvenirs and have picked back up on collecting Pokemon cards. Nintendo World caused this. XD I could stay there forever... I'm sure of it. I am now the proud owner of a Sandile plushie by the way. Me gusta.
And also, I'd have been lost if it weren't for my iPhone on that trip. Yay gps and subway maps.
I might not have done all of the typical tourist things in New York, but I had fun anyways. I got to do everything I wanted to do and more.
On another note... completely random by the way...
I dyed my hair a while back and loved it. It was a first for me. Dark brown streaks with bright red underneath. I miss it.
It was a nice change though it was very drastic.
Got to go to a Mardi Gras Ball at ULM. That was fun. Good good times.
I've made a new friend or two and had some great experiences. And also quite the opposite of that.
Malice in Wonderland is a really good movie if you haven't seen it. Just sayin'.
Got to have lunch with an old friend today. Made my day. It was good to see her face.
I'm going to see Chicago tonight. ULM's School of Visual and Performing Arts is putting it on.
It was playing in NY when I was there, but I was unable to go.
I'm so excited.
I read the Hunger Games and plan on seeing the movie soon also. XD I really liked the book.
I'll soon read the other 2 books.
I've become obsessed with Pinterest. Well, not obsessed, but I do enjoy it.
Spring break is the week after next. I'm really looking forward to being able to relax for a week. Finals are soon. T.T So much studying to do.
I already have some epic plans for my week off. I'm looking forward to them.
I'm going to see The Fray in April too. Woot. It's going to be awesome. I haven't been to a concert in forever it seems.
Sadly, I'm not going to Akon. T.T Maybe next year. I just can't afford it and I don't have the time.
Sorry this was so random. Reading back over it, it makes no sense, but I don't care to change it. :3 I like it the way it is.
Well, I have so much more to say, but I have work to do.
I hope you all are doing well. Take care.
